The South Hunterdon Regional School District does not discriminate in admissions or access to, or treatment or employment on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in its programs and activities. The summer is upon us, and I wish you all a safe and productive summer. I see my younger self in our students and am committed to advocating for Regardless of race, ethnicity, ability, gender, or socioeconomic background, our students must have access to a quality education that prepares them to compete in high-demand careers. I aim to support our student’s mental, social, and academic well-being. Our learning environments will foster positive relationship building. Our district must demonstrate a student-centered approach that recognizes and celebrates the unique needs of every single student. I will be visible within our schools as I partner with educators to elevate learning. I am thrilled about the future of our district and look forward to creating a dynamic and engaging learning community. As it was then, and is now, I love to learn and grow, and the district provides me with tremendous gratification to do both. When I was a Principal, Vice-Principal, Fourth-grade teacher, Substitute, or Parent dropping my child off at one of our schools, the first day brings anticipation, excitement, and curiosity. I relate my feelings to how students may feel on their first day of school. This is my 21st year of First Day of Schools, serving in our district. As an experienced educator, I bring a passion for ensuring every student has an opportunity to achieve their best. I am pleased to introduce myself as the Superintendent of Schools.
